I used to suffer greatly from FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). I thought my FOMO peaked in college when there was always an array of cool things going on, people to see, dining hall buffets to be had.
But then social media came around, and my FOMO exploded.
I got into this bad habit of scrolling through my Facebook news feed at night, and it would seem like everyone was on a tropical vacation, going out to eat at fancy restaurants, listening to new bands, taking cool gym classes, and I would get jealous and feel so unsatisfied with my life.
But then I became a mom, and things changed.
I no longer wanted to fill every waking hour of my day with cool things. In fact, give me a free hour and you better believe I am NAPPING! Having kids has made me really appreciate both my alone time and also my quiet quality time with my family... often doing nothing Facebook worthy at all.
And that's okay with me.
But wait! If you have Momidarity FOMO, have no fear, there are so many ways you can be involved in our little business! And for this, it's totally worth your time :)
Will you join us, mamas?
